This is a very late posting I know, nevertheless we want to let the public know that our Bicol romp last July 2008 was a HUGE success. We officially released the MusikMAX BICOL CD via launch parties in the Bicol region as further strengthening of the MusikMAX concept of local music scene focus.

We designated two tracks as carrier singles: DALOY by IDLE PITCH and ALBAY SONG by BUCKYARD BOYZ. By the time we got to Bicol, these two songs were already enjoying considerable airplay via organic requests…

EYESCREAM band takes their MEMORIES music CD down south of the NLEX as they embark on a Southern Mall Tour this summer 2008. EYESCREAM will play the songs from their “MEMORIES” debut CD to the Pinoy rock crowds on the following dates and venues…

• February 29 at SM Dasmarinas in Cavite
• March 8 at SM Molino in Cavite
• March 14 at SM City Lucena in Lucena City, Quezon

On the last leg of their Southern Mall Tour, they will hold a full concert at the Central Park Garden Cafe in Lucena City, Quezon. Central Park Garden Cafe is the premiere live concert venue in Lucena City for top music acts in the Philippines such as Bamboo and Imago bands.

Production for MusikMAX Bicol is in full swing. From the audition of 20+ Bicol bands held at Wharf Galley bar in Naga last November 30, 2007 to Last January 2008 where Sound Weavers set-up a remote recording studio in Naga City for pre-production and some actual recording of the bands right there in the heart of Bicolandia. This February 2008 (as of this writing), most featured Bicol bands were transported to Makati, billeted at a hotel to complete the recording sessions at a professional recording studio in Makati for the songs to be included in MusikMAX Bicol

Wow. Whoa. What a night! It was our pleasure at Rebolusyon Rekords and Rakrakan to be part of the 1st Bluesfest. It felt good to be involved in a blues music show in Manila after taking the Blueskrieg train up south and north of Luzon… Kudos to Andy and The Blue Rats for starting the Bluesfest.
